The Punjab Rangers announces job openings twice a year for direct entry and other positions. The recruitment exam is held at various Punjab Rangers recruitment centers.

To join the Punjab Rangers, you must be a Pakistani citizen, between the ages of 18 and 30, and have a minimum educational qualification of middle, matric, or intermediate level. You must also meet the physical fitness standards set by the Punjab Rangers.

If you are selected for the recruitment exam, you will be tested on your general knowledge, mathematics, and English. You will also have to go through a physical fitness test.

Sub Inspector (SI)

• Minimum Qualification: Intermediate/Bachelor
• Physical Standard of Fitness:
  • The Minimum height for males is 5’-6” or 168 cm
  • Minimum weight for males: 121 lbs. or 54 Kg
  • The minimum chest measurement for males is 33 34″ (expansion 34 34″).
• Age Limit: 20–35 years. However, the government may grant an exception to the current 5-year upper age limit.

Naik

• Minimum Qualification: FA, FSC, ICS, or equivalent
• Physical Standard of Fitness:
  • The minimum height for males is 5’-6” or 168 cm
  • The minimum weight for males is 121 lbs., or 54 Kg
  • The minimum chest measurement for males is 33 ¾ ” expansion – 34¾ ”.
• Age Limit: 20–35 years. However, the government may grant an exception to the current 5-year upper age limit.

Sepoy

• Minimum Qualification: Middle or Matric
• Physical Standard of Fitness:
  • The minimum height for males is 5’-6” or 168 cm
  • Minimum weight for males: 121 lbs. or 54 Kg
  • The minimum chest measurement for males is 33 ¾ ” expansion – 34¾ ”.

Naib Khateeb

• Minimum Qualification: Minimum FA passed candidates from government-recognized schools and Faarigh or Faazil Da Ras-e-Nizami from one of the recognized Religious Institutions and HEC. (preference for higher qualifications)
