No, you can only submit hard copies of application forms.
Can I submit my application through courier service?
Yes, you can submit your application through courier service within the stipulated time.
Where can I submit my application?
Complete filled-in applications along with all requisite documents/evidences can be submitted by hand or through courier service in the office of PA to Vice Chancellor.
Can the processing fee be waived off for disabled/persons with special needs?
Presently, there is no policy of waiving off fees, but it may be given in the future. However, for this purpose, a written request can be submitted in the Office of Vice Chancellor.
Can I apply for a job vacancy if I have a domicile of any province of Pakistan?
Yes, applications are invited from Pakistani nationals regardless of province.
Can you tell me the main processing steps of job applications (academic positions)?
For Academic positions:
- Scrutiny/shortlisting Committee initially evaluate the applications as per given eligibility criteria in advertisement.
- If the number of applications is more than 10 after initial scrutiny, then a written test will be conducted for BS-17 to BS-18 positions.
- Minimum 50% marks are required for qualifying in the test. Only those candidates will be called for the interview who will qualify in the written test.
- Against one post/seat, the top 5 on merit candidates will be called for an interview.
Is a written test mandatory for all posts?
From BS-1 to BS-18 for Teaching and Non-Teaching positions, Written/Physical/Screening test can be conducted for the shortlisting of candidates in case the number of applications exceeds ten (10).
Can age relaxation be granted if I am over the prescribed age limit?
Yes, general age relaxation can be granted as per notification/policy of Government of Punjab.
Can I apply for the position Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer if my terminal degree is not in that specific subject? For example, if I have done a PhD in Botany, would I be eligible for the subject of Agriculture?
Terminal degree must be in a relevant field/subject. But final eligibility will be determined by the scrutiny/shortlisting committee of the University.
What is the processing time of applications?
Normally, applications processing starts just after the closing date of advertisement. But time can be collapsed due to unavoidable circumstances and especially for the higher positions where external/international reviewer evaluation is essential for interviews.
